Chairman of Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, M. Suat Hacısalihoğlu, stated that the meeting with Qatar Investment Agency was positive, and added: "Qataris want to make long-term investments with 50 million and more. . MEETING AT QATAR INVESTMENT AGENCY
Emphasizing that they a meeting with DOKA General Secretary Onur Adıyaman and Trabzon City Culture and Tourism Director Ali Ayvazoğlu and Qatar Investment Agency Chairman Navit Chamdia and Vice-Chairman Muhammed Abdulrezzag Al-Hashmi, Chairman Hacısalihoğlu said:
“We introduced the investment opportunities in Trabzon to Qatar Investment Agency at the meeting. We did promotions for Qataris to invest in our region and country. We took their opinions as well. We presented some projects regarding Trabzon. We had a very profitable meeting. We learned that Qataris had plans to make long-term investments in our country in 50 million and more amounts. We exchanged ideas about the businessmen in Trabzon to cooperate with Qatar Investment Agency for their projects. In this direction, we made a shared decision on presenting long-term projects prepared by our businessmen to Qatar Investment Agency for them to convey those to Qatari businessmen for financing and partnership. We wish our businessmen to take this matter into consideration.”
