Uzungöl Winter Tourism Center
With the establishment of winter tourism center in Uzungöl, one of 16 specially protected environment areas announced in Turkey, it is aimed the tourism season to be spread across the year in Trabzon and to increase economic and social contribution provided by tourism.
5 million tourists visit Eastern Black Sea Region during summer. 3 million tourists come Trabzon, which is the center of the region. Uzungöl is demanded in summer due to being an attraction center in tourism. With the project, first, winter tourism infrastructure will be provided and, therefore, many opportunities for congress, conference and fair tourism will be developed. Winter tourism center on the plateaus located in Uzungöl in order to improve winter tourism by evaluating its geographical and climate structure.
INVESTMENT MODEL SUGGESTION
- There are no regulatory obstacles for investments, and its master plan and feasibility are ready.

- 32 km-long 31 ski-run compatible for international competitions.
- A 30-km-long cable car system with 5.000 persons capacity and with 15 stations.

- Mountain restaurant with 250 persons capacity.
- Glass observation terrace and cafe.
- Ski training center.
SARIKAYA PLATEAU
Properties of Investment Area- 82 hectare pasture area -zoning plan change required.
- Ministry of Culture and Tourism is authorized for the change. (Plot no 102-Parcel no 96)
- On Kanlıyatak Hill at 2460 height.
- There are no settlements around and the plateau has 1.5km distance to the settlement.
- Has 3,5km distance to Uzungöl.
- There is road to investment area.
- A change of attribute of pasture is enough for the investment to be implemented. National Parks (Uzungöl Natural Park Protected Area) and archaeological areas are out of this project. There are no cultural assets to be protected and it is out of Special Environmental Protection Area borders.

- 122 hecater 1. Degree archaeological site (Requires a change of archaeological site status.) Ministry of Environment and Urbanization is authorized for 3rd degree natural site area status.
- Şekersu Neighborhood at 2200m altitude is in pasture parcel. (Plot no 101 - parcel no 611)
- It is under Special Environmental Protection, and a change is required on this area for the investment. (With a Decree of the Council of Ministers)
- There is road to Investment area.
- Access to the hotel is possible with cable car line connected to Kerestel Plateau cable car registered in the zoning plan;
- Has 1,6km distance to Uzungöl.
